Louisa and Lorenz cultivated their love for fine wine during their frequent business travel to Europe in their early careers, especially of the region of Burgundy. Our goal is to produce limited productions of well-structured Pinot Noir wines in the Old World style, with subtle fruit, texture and complexity.  Through the expertise of Patrick Saboe, our Director of Winemaking, Zeka Vineyards seek to express the character of the fruit and our distinctive terrior to ultimately produce wines that reflects each vintages’ unique character.

At Zeka Vineyards, meticulous winemaking starts from obtaining premium fruit through judicious pruning to control yields and selective hand harvesting; the fruits are then sent to stainless steel tanks without significant destemming and partial inclusion of whole clusters adds to the wine’s unique character; after a long maceration and fermentation period, the juice is then gently transferred to French oak barrels for aging.

Our wines will improve with further aging but it will be difficult to wait!
